June Just Got a Whole Lot More Fun at Paqua Park

June in Arizona means one thing: it’s hot and it’s not holding back. While the rest of the city cranks up the AC, Paqua Park is wide open on Lake Pleasant — and this month the schedule expands, giving you more chances than ever to get out on the water.

More Days, More Options

Starting in June and running through most of July, Paqua Park operates Thursday through Monday, opening up the week for those who can’t always make a weekend work. Whether you’re planning a family outing or finally locking in a date with a group of friends, there’s more room in the schedule to make it happen. Check the Book Now page for specific session times on your preferred date, as times can vary.

What Waits for You on the Water

When it’s the kind of hot that makes the air shimmer off the pavement, leaving the house takes some convincing. But this is exactly the kind of day Paqua Park was made for: a floating inflatable obstacle course on Lake Pleasant where the only thing on the agenda is having fun. Seven thousand square feet of climbing, jumping, sliding and bouncing — with the cool water of the lake right there to catch you every time. It’s the kind of afternoon that reminds you why summer in Arizona can actually be pretty great.

Life jackets are provided and participants must be at least 7 years old and 45 inches tall. Everyone on the course is required to know how to swim.

Make It a Multi-Session Day

Each session is 45 minutes long. If your group is having a great time and wants to keep going, you can do another session right after the first one at a discounted rate of $15 per person.  You’ll need to exit the course between sessions and attend the safety briefing again before your next one. It’s a simple way to extend the fun if the afternoon calls for it.

Bringing a group of 10 or more? Groups get a discounted rate of $24 per person when booked online, which adds up across a bigger headcount or multiple sessions.

A Few Things to Know Before You Go

Paqua Park is located at Scorpion Bay Marina inside Lake Pleasant Regional Park at 10970 Peninsula Blvd, Peoria, AZ 85345. Maricopa County charges a $10 per car entry fee at the gate. Plan to arrive 15 to 30 minutes before your session to check in, get your life jacket and catch the pre-session briefing. Signing your waiver online before you arrive is the easiest way to speed up check-in.

Your June Starts Here
