What the Yachtuzzi Actually Is
You step aboard your own private vessel, the water is already warm, the stereo is ready for your playlist, and the lake is wide open in front of you. The Yachtuzzi holds up to six people and moves with a simple joystick: no license, no experience, no learning curve. Just you and your people on the open lake.
It’s not a boat in the traditional sense. It’s not a hot tub in the traditional sense either. It’s its own thing: a floating space where you soak, cruise, and take in the desert scenery at your own pace. There’s nothing else like it on Lake Pleasant — and that’s exactly the point.

Making a Day of It
The Yachtuzzi is the main event, but the best summer days at Scorpion Bay Marina tend to have more than one chapter.
Start your morning on the Yachtuzzi: the lake is calm, the water is already warm, and there’s nowhere you need to be. When you’re ready to pick up the pace, jet skis are waiting. Built for one or two riders, they’re the move for mid-day when the lake opens up and the energy shifts. Close out the afternoon on paddle boards: a slower pace, a little more lake, and a good way to wind things down before heading out.

Before You Head Out
Scorpion Bay Marina is located inside Lake Pleasant Regional Park. The county charges around $10 per vehicle at the gate (double check current fares before arrival), and summer weekends can back up at the entrance, so give yourself a buffer before your reservation time. Late arrivals don’t get extra time if there’s another booking right after.
From Memorial Day through Labor Day, our team is on site from 9am on weekdays and 8am on weekends, so you can make the most of the full day. Renters need to be at least 18 with a valid driver’s license and a credit or debit card. Passengers of any age are welcome with a signed waiver.
